“We had a three day stay at Lumina Valley View Monteverde in April 2025. The house is very spacious, modern and comfortable. It has an amazing gourmet kitchen (love the waterfall style granite countertop!) and a great view with a lovely, vibrant orange sunset. Lovely furnishings and decor. Also ample hot water, AC and strong Wifi. Note that this location is a little far out so not walkable to any amenities. Our host Glenda, who is a native of Monteverde, was amazing. She made our stay……

“Great spot to land and really get away from the majority of tourists. Local restaurants are cheaper, people are happier and it is not that far to all things Arenal. The house was great and property manager responded quickly when we had questions. Only thing is there is just one gate code, doors take a bit to get used to lock and unlock and house is 4th one on the left. But those are just minor things. ”

“We had a wonderful stay, family of 5. We enjoyed the wellness walk and all of the beautiful landscaping and foliage that attracts the nature that surrounds you. Make sure you get to the 10 spot to enjoy the ancient tree. We loved having coffee on the deck around the master upstairs, watching birds of every color and type, we even saw toucan and green parrots in the tree. Has binoculars available also. Had everything we needed including bottled jugs of water when first getting to the property.……

If we ever get back to Costa Rica we will definitely be visiting Serenity again. Plenty of space, beautiful home, and amenities for cooking. ”

“Gorgeous grounds and view. Comfortable beds. Great have a kitchen. The water in the shower was terrible! Suddenly it would be ice cold then suddenly blistering hot. We both hated that, but otherwise the apartment was perfect. The housekeeper was awesome!”

“Property was fantastic, beautiful view and garden and pool. Place was well looked after and clean, hosts were great. Town was friendly with decent places to eat. Butterfly sanctuary is a must. Really enjoyed waking up everymorning to the sounds of birds and view of the volcano”
