“Hotel Bayit was a haven during a very difficult week. In a town full of indistinguishable chain hotels, this little hotel is run by a family, and they do an excellent job. The rooms are immaculately clean, the beds comfy, and the food at Matriarch (the cafe on property) is delicious. Can confidently recommend this hotel. In fact, I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Modesto.”

“My wife said "never again", as there were lots of sketchy people hanging around the building.”

“You get what you pay for. The first room we got was never clean, beds were very dirty and the pillows had nasty stains. The receptionist moved us to a different room on the same conditions. They refuse to reinvers us so we had to pay a room in a different hotel.”
