“Stayed here with my two Doodles while working 12+ hour days post Helene. Being able to start and end the day in house vs a hotel room makes the long days much easier. It was an absolute luxury to have a full kitchen AND a washer and dryer. The property was as described. The host was wonderful! Exceeded all expectations. Would love to come back one day when I can enjoy my coffee on the expansive patio and take a dip in the hot tub. NOTE: the 4-wheel drive part of the listing is no joke. The roads……

“This was the perfect place to stay for my birthday trip to the mountains! The cabin was beautiful! And very convenient to hikes and grandfather mountain. We loved using the sauna and hot tub! We will definitely come back! ”

“We booked this cabin for a quick ski getaway. The cabin was conveniently located, and easy drive to Appalachian Ski Mountain, Blueridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, and Blowing Rock downtown area. The cabin itself was perfect. We had everything we needed and more. Fantastic stay! ”

“We loved our month long stay at the cabin! Great communication with the owners, had an issue with the hot tub and they coordinated with the mechanic to get it fixed during our stay. We were able to schedule a weekly meal kit delivery and so we appreciated having a well supplied kitchen for dinnerware/utensils/spices/etc and cleaning products. Comfy beds! Smart TVs in all the bedrooms and living room. The driveway is quite steep and bumpy in certain spots, would recommend AWD as stated in the……

“Fantastic trip! Stayed 2 nights and wished we could stay longer! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The property was wooded and so quiet. We didn't expect to wake up to snow and feel like temp of 7 degrees, but the cabin was warm, cozy, and dry. Will definitely recommend to others and will be back! Thanks for the memories Bear Cabin!”

“Even though the weather wasn’t great, the cabin was clean and cozy. Screened in porch was so nice to just sit, read and enjoy the rain. We were hoping to get to use the fire pit outside but winds prevented that. Will keep this on our list of places to stay in the future.”
