“+++ Absolutely magnificent place with a wonderful history. The wooden features are beautiful and the bedrooms are outstanding. Wonderful snooker table and fireplaces. “This place is truly a hidden gem, and the staff is absolutely incredible! It should be on everyone’s list when visiting Sri Lanka. The owner is wonderful; she invited my friend and me for tea, picked us up in her SUV since our tuk-tuk couldn't make it up the hill due to an earlier accident, and welcomed us warmly despite our late check-in. “酒店门前的确在修路，从市区10公里过来的路要开半小时。估计还要修个把月。酒店不大，一共能接待10几个住客，但是该有的都有了。餐饮不是其他大酒店的自助，反倒可以支持随点随做，甚至早餐。使得更有一种家的感觉。泳池的确没有加热，比较冷。我很喜欢花园草坪。可以在黄昏时爬上后面的茶山看日落。风景如画。几个小问题，酒店没有外币兑换，不能安排什么DAY TOUR，晚餐价格比起当地水平贵了一些。是值得推荐的酒店。”

“The Grand Argyle Resort & Villas was a beautiful location. Our room was very clean and spacious. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. There was a pool table located upstairs and an outdoor pool, however, it was not clean enough to enter. We did enjoy walking around the property and site seeing. The area offers spectacular views! I would recommend this hotel to others! ”

“If U like to experience Safari, Palmstone Retreat is the place. The hotel has been open for only 3 months when we were there. The hotel is very beautiful. U can look out into the woods and stream first thing when U wake up in your bed. Rooms are huge. The manager, Cavindi, is by far the most friendly one I have met. The only thing that need to improve is the road that lead from the main road to the hotel. It is very narrow, dark at night, bumpy and steep. It took us 40 mins one single trip……

“We had a lovely one night stay at Ferncliff, it was just lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as a very well run ‘b&b’ type hotel but much more luxurious. Bernard in particular was fantastic, especially his cooking — we had both dinner and breakfast there. Very glad we chose this over the ‘grand hotel’ in the end. ”
