“Great hotel! We were visiting town for Risefest in Sheldon and found LeMars to be a beautiful place to stay overnight - that coincidentally had their own Ice Cream Festival going on the same weekend. Lovely grounds, extremely spacious rooms and service you'd expect from a luxury hotel. We will definitely stay here again!”

“I was impressed both by the cleanliness and the personality of this motel. It's not your normal cooky cutter hotel that all look alike on the inside. It has a throwback charm to it that is very unique. It could use a bit of paint touch up in a couple of corners and there were a few very minor chips in the furniture that just added to the charm. The breakfast was no feast, but nice, with waffles, eggs, sausage, variety of coffees, several different cereals, and a few breads. Just a warning, this……

“Overall, the room was comfortable. The windows needed cleaning. The toilet bowl needed cleaning. The bathroom mirror needed cleaning. The shower head should be cleaned or replaced.”

“I loved the external room door on the first floor. It’s a niche thing, but there was something very satisfying about parking directly outside my door and walking right in. Property was very clean, staff was great, bed was comfy!”

“My room was excellent. Stayed with my Great Dane so the kitchen was great for his food preparation. The front desk host, Brandon I believe was his name, was extremely helpful and friendly. ”

“Our room had a nice view of 4th of July fireworks being lit from various locations. The contential breakfast included many choices: waffels, biscuits & gravey, cereal, yougurt, individually packed servings of bagels, bacon, sausages, hardboiled eggs,,,,,,..”
