“I was impressed both by the cleanliness and the personality of this motel. It's not your normal cooky cutter hotel that all look alike on the inside. It has a throwback charm to it that is very unique. It could use a bit of paint touch up in a couple of corners and there were a few very minor chips in the furniture that just added to the charm. The breakfast was no feast, but nice, with waffles, eggs, sausage, variety of coffees, several different cereals, and a few breads. Just a warning, this……

“Overall, the room was comfortable. The windows needed cleaning. The toilet bowl needed cleaning. The bathroom mirror needed cleaning. The shower head should be cleaned or replaced.”

We were visiting town for Risefest in Sheldon and found LeMars to be a beautiful place to stay overnight - that coincidentally had their own Ice Cream Festival going on the same weekend. Lovely grounds, extremely spacious rooms and service you'd expect from a luxury hotel. We will definitely stay here again!”
