We wondered about the winding staircase for two 60 year olds and a 6 year old, but it turned out being no problem at all. The views are spectacular from both upstairs and down. We were in the hot tub twice a day. The kids caught fish off the dock. We kayaked and SUP'd multiple times. We had campfires. And we loved the proximity to the falls and swimming pool at Letchworth State Park. The only……

“It was just what we wanted -- a place near Letchworth Park that was dog-friendly. Its in a quiet neighborhood that's a short dog-walk to a beautiful lake. You need to bring linens and towels. The kitchen has plates and utensils but no food, spices, coffee, sugar, etc. I wish the notes posted in the home were on the listing, especially the "small hot water tank, take a short shower". None of these minor gripes would have stopped us from renting this place, but it's good to know up front. ……

“It's an old house kept spotlessly clean and well-stocked with everything you need. 2 blocks from beautiful, posh East Ave, we were 5 min drive from art museums, the planetarium, and the .Museum of Play. Beds are comfy. Window ACs hD no problem keeping the house cool. We had no problem finding close, free parking for our extra car.. Staying here gave us a much better Rochester experience than we evver got when we stayed in the burbs.”
