We came from the Detroit area and in less than an hour and a half we were in a quiet beachside paradise. The house was perfect for two of us and a dog and its location ON the beach was more than we could have dreamed of. The beach was clean, and our hosts provided plenty of wood for bonfires. “Let me just start of by saying that Jennifer is an amazing host! Prior to arrival, the answered all our questions and assured us of any concerns. Once we arrived, we unfortunately had a bit of a plumbing issue in the bathroom which she quickly resolved — within two hours in fact! Her prompt responses and support made our stay all the more enjoyable.CJ’s Lakehouse itself is a gorgeous property. “The home was newly renovated and fully equipped to meet our needs for our one week stay. It was an easy 20 minute drive from Point Pelee where we attended a 5 day bird photography workshop. There is a main house with two bedrooms and a second building which serves as a studio with a Murphy bed. The property owner was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had during our stay.
