“We were to check in at 5 pm with a confirmed reservation. By 5 we had not received check in directions. Sat in car for over an hour trying to message the host...NO response to phone calls, texts or emails. At 6 pm, we received an email was canceled due to some "maintenance issue". We were sitting right outside the apartment building door and no one bothered to speak to us in person or by phone. No consideration of our 4 hour drive to get there, or where we would stay that night on a busy major……

The property owner had two weeks to respond before I hit my deadline of the booking being nonrefundable. VRBO had to reach out to the property owner to get an answer. 2. Upon arrival, there was food in the kitchen sink. After opening the dishwasher, it was flooded in the bottom and smelled like it had been……
