“Everything was great and very relaxing. Due to its location on a wooded property the climate of the house was very comfortable. When it was hot outside, it was comfortably cool inside (without ac) and vice versa. The screenshot porch was very relaxing and the house had a lot of items to use and good kitchen equipment. Furthermore Todd is very helpful host! The lake and the surrounding were very relaxing too. We were there with our teenage kids. For them the calm surrounding was a little boring……

“Cottage was just as good as it looked in the photos. Very clean and pleasant, tastefully decorated. Everything we needed for a month's stay was provided including plenty of linens/towels, roomy washer/dryer, kitchen utensils, pots, pans, etc. Easy access to the lake where we enjoyed swimming and canoeing. A short distance to the Nathan Hale Homestead Museum made for an excellent destination for daily walks that included some stops at the "Bread Shed" on the way to get some delicious breads……

“We had a great time. Our new puppy loved walking the grounds (on leash inside and out). Very private and close to all we wanted to see...seaport, restaurants, casinos. Loved our stay there. Thanks for everything.”

“We had a great stay at Al's place. An easy drive to New London and Mystic. Very comfortable and stocked with lots of extras. We will definitely book again if we come back to this area!”

“We had a wonderful stay. Very peaceful, quiet, beautiful views. We also really enjoyed Hopeville Pond State Park which was only a 5 min drive. ”

“A lovely little cottage close to all that is good in Mystic, CT. Easy trips over to the Aquarium, walking distance to downtown and the Mystic Seaport Museum. Cute backyard and patio for some outdoor entertaining if your heart desires it. Overall a wonderful stay - will be back!”

“We had the absolute best time! The property is right on the beach and you just can’t beat the view from your porch. Our toddlers loved being able to go back and forth throughout the day and it had all the amenities we could have asked for, even double ply toilet paper! Ely was a wonderful host and we’re looking forward to staying again in the future! ”

“BEAUTIFUL!!! This little cottage is perfect. My boyfriend and I stayed for a two night trip. The place is so spacious, clean, and well stocked with everything you might need! We enjoyed the living room space to wind down at the end of the day & pop the tv on. The walk to the beach is so quick & it’s amazing once you get there. Jay and Lisa kept us up to date and gave us all the information we needed. I can be nit picky about rentals sometimes, but this cottage was hands down the best, no issues.……

“Our stay in Old Saybrook was absolutely perfect! The house was spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. We loved the cozy coastal vibe, and the amenities were above and beyond—everything from the kitchen supplies to the comfy beds was thoughtfully provided. (Laundry too!)The location was ideal: peaceful and quiet, yet just a short drive to the beach, the town center, and local favorites like Pasta Vita. We especially appreciated the scenic surroundings and the quick access to……

“Lovely cottage on beautiful Lake Hayward. Very clean, comfortable accommodations and the view of the lake is stunning. The bathroom was newly renovated and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make and serve our meals. The host was very responsive and kind.
