“My family & I stayed the night here after a fun filled day at Hershey Park, we arrived after check-in time and the front desk had the number for me to call when I arrived so I can check in. That allowed the process to be smooth which I loved Looking forward to visiting again!”

“Had a wonderful time staying at the cozy shoehouse as we took a couple days to reunite with family after moving out of state. Spent 23 years in York visiting the shoe from time to time. It was very nostalgic inside and outside of the shoe. Unlike practically all shoes, this one did not stink.”

The house is so close to downtown Hershey, the park, chocolate factory and other outdoor activities. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to explore all that Hersey has to offer. ”

“This was my first time using VRBO. The description of the property was exactly what it said. If you have a baby and young children they also provide baby beds, high chair, books and games. Great location to the surrounding farm land, shops and restaurants. The host were great. The cottage has a warm country feel. I would recommend staying there. ”

“Chika is a very gracious and communicative host! She was also accommodating and super friendly. The home itself fit the needs of our group for a one-night stay. There was plenty of room and the bedrooms and bathrooms were equipped with everything we needed. Chika even included toiletries that came in handy for some of us. The only comment we have about the home itself was that it’s not exactly quiet. It’s off of a main highway and train tracks so you can hear the traffic and train throughout the……

“We stayed three nights in order to enjoy Hershey Park. The location to the park is outstanding. We like to bring our own breakfast foods and dinner to save some money and the kitchen worked well. My only complaint is there were no potholders and only 1 dishwasher tablet. I am sure if we had called, they would have helped,..but I didn't. It was very comfortable for a family with a range of ages from 3 to 18 years old. It was nothing fancy, but when there are kids involved, we don't want……

“The place was super clean well kept. Safe area lots of things to do and see. There is a sing seat by the river watch is magical. The inn keeper is so humble and kind. She is very Accompadating. And there is a trian ride that takes you to Jim Thorne. Will definitely be back again in October for the fall festival and the changing of the leaves.”
