“This is our 2nd time visiting this home. We come to visit our son, who is a student at Colgate and in the Colgate orchestra. The hosts are so accommodating and wonderful! The house is squeaky clean and so comfortable. We have already booked it for our next visit in April. ”

“We spent two nights with our dogs. It was a beautiful property very picturesque. Our dogs loved the yard and kennel. After a couple days of hiking and a lot of leash walking they enjoyed being able to run free in the fenced yard. The house had a great layout with lots of space. ”

The kitchen is well equipped to make meals and there is also an extensive binder with great information about restaurants and attractions nearby. The house was immaculate, cozy and comfortable. “We have been visiting the area for the last 3 years as our son is at nearby Colgate. We have rented many homes for weekend visits. This was by far the nicest experience we have had,Just a beautiful large comfy home. Immaculately clean and well stocked. Ping pong in the basement kept the kids occupied during a rainy weekend. The large streaming TV was great for Netflix movies.Comfortable beds and large dining area. Oven was great for chocolate chip cookies.Oh, and the view of the lake is……

“I lived on the west shore for 15 years before 2000. I knew the magic of the lake in Spring, before the schools were out and the motorboats roared past. The road was narrow and crowded, and summer folk found their camps again. Friends found peace and quiet away from the city of Syracuse. Quilting was done, and meals could have been obtained in the town.”

Having the pool, the anmazing view of the lake, and fabulous weather took it up a level. It was the break that everyone needed and that is why we give it a 5! ”
