“We all enjoyed our stay. The house and indoor pool were wonderful. There are plenty of comfortable places to sit and enjoy the gorgeous views. We loved the location which is both close to Lenox restaurants, as well as, the southern Berkshires for food markets and activities for kids. The property manager was attentive, and the owner was very responsive. We loved our week at this family friendly property and highly recommend it. ”

Mary, your host, has thought of everything to help you feel comfortable and very quickly to adjust to your home away from home. It is very well located so that you can easily visit the many places of interest nearby. The rules for checking in and out were clear and simple. We are delighted give this a 5-star rating. “Our family (adults plus two teenage kids) loved our stay. The house sits behind and up the hill from the main house, and is private and quiet. The upstairs loft area with two separate beds was perfect for the kids, and we appreciated the well stocked kitchen. This was our family's favorite place on a recent college tour throughout New England.”

“The house is dog friendly. My dogs appreciated the fenced in yard. The house was conveniently located to the places we needed to go to. I didn’t read the amenities supplied list carefully and was surprised there wasn’t a hairdryer. I had to buy one. Also, if you like to take a bath, you need to bring a plug to be able to fill the tub up with water. I couldn't locate the rubber bath mat for the shower.”

“This is a great little house in Pittsfield. Location was perfect for us, as it's just a couple of miles from our son's apartment. It's a beautiful farm, tucked away on a back road. It seems "rural" when you're at the house, but it's actually right near everything you could possibly need. The owners were great with communication and very accommodating. We hope to be back, and it's great to know that the house has enough room for our other kids to join if they want to. ”

“Terrific location, centrally located in the Berkshires, and easy access to Lenox. The stairs were quite steep, which might make it challenging for anyone with mobility challenges. ”

“Property is lovely and very well maintained. We stayed for over 10 days and it was a perfect home away from home. Owners are very kind and accommodating — when I couldn’t find a hair dryer one was delivered to the house within a couple of hours. They also offered to relocate us if we were bothered by the nearby forest fire, which was not necessary. I hope we’ll have the opportunity to stay again.”

“Jandie's was the absolute best rental house we have ever stayed at. The house was clean and well kept, everything felt brand new. The set up was great, open kitchen, dining room and living room and made entertaining very easy. The kids had their own room and enjoyed spending time together in their own space.
