“Spacious rooms with cooking facilities, nice decor and good security surroundings. However, there is another guest from other flat taking his stinky cigarette and speak loudly via phone. Overall we highly recommend this apartment to family or large group of travelers.”

“The accomodation was not as advertised. It was so bad we had to book alternative accomodation elsewhere. So far we have no way of seeking a refund, so we do not recommend Hotels.com to anyone ever! ”

“We were double booked into the house we had paid for but we were taken to a different one around the corner. For the price we paid it was adequate and clean. Sharing a bathroom with 3 lads who had also been double booked into the same house was not too much of a problem and having a fully functioning clean kitchen helped to catering costs reasonable. ”

“We spent a fabulous time in Peveril Cottage. The location was ideal, only a few minutes from Bakewell's center. The cottage is very tidy and cozy, and, most important, absolutely quiet. No dogs barking at night, no sounds from cars or motorcycles. If you plan really relaxing holidays, this is it. Liz was very helpful. She responded promptly to all of our requests and arranged everything in order to make our stay most comfortable. In the kitchen there is everything you need and the bed is just……

“Lovely apartment. The stairs provide useful training for any walks you might be planning (lol). The kitchen was well equipped and a generally sure location. Anyone over 6 foot tall may have to duck to get under the shower properly but that wasn't a problem for us.”
