“A lot bigger than i realised. It was a great suprise. Good size room, big shower room. “The property was cold and the device to set the temperature seemed to be out of battery. It was somewhat hard to find, and when we entered there was a vacuum cleaner sitting in the hallway. Parking can be hard to find, and the owners' emails seemed to be automatic and not responsive.”

“We had a great stay at this historic hotel. Check in/check out was smooth. Great breakfast selection with hearty portion. “We had a lovely stay thank you, i brought my daughter and son for a birthday treat for my saughters birthday, the receptionist was very lovely and polite. We enjoyed the use of the leisure facilities and had a lovely meal followed by a hot chocolate in the bar. Our room was nice and clean with all the aminities we needed.”

“Have stayed here before for work, property is convenient with breakfast and evening meal included in the price. Options in the restaurant for evening meal are pretty good, but it is cafeteria style. No irons available for the rooms, but there are areas with irons and boards available. Rooms are generally okay but some areas where it is getting tired or damaged.”

“The stay overall was great. The bed was comfy and the breakfast was really good. We arrived later than expected and there were building works happening in the main hotel so someone waited for us and explained that we had been upgraded to a cottage so we weren’t disturbed by the noise. The only things were that the water out of the hot tap for the bath was not very hot, and something had been spilt next to the bed so the carpet could do with a clean. Not our first choice of hotel in Derby but a……
