“Lovely place to stay,very clean,contact with staff was great ”

“Highly recommend to stay at Cromwell’s Tap House. It’s located in the heart of Shrewsbury, at walking distance of pretty much everything in town. Only 7 minutes from the train station. The rooms were located on the first floor above the pub. We heard no noise whatsoever, and only in the morning we heard some cars go by, but it was of no nuisance to us. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and there were a lot of amenities like a hairdryer, coffee, tea, and towels. The linen were also……

“Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. “We had a great stay and all the staff were welcoming and friendly. Food was also great. ”

“We stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely time. Our large room had a comfy 4 poster bed, table, chairs in the bay window. Bathroom had large fluffy towels, lots of hot water. The views from both windows overlooked the well manicured grounds with benches, fabulous flowers in baskets and trees Breakfast was tasty with vegetarian options. The Eggs royale was excellent. Inn was clean, tastefully decorated with friendly efficient staff. ”
