“Great experience from check in to check out. Lovely building, good evening meal and great breakfast. Quick and attentive service and a good sized and comfortable room. Recommended. ”

“Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. We had breakfast (optional) which consisted of lots cold options, fresh fruits, juices cereals etc. Then a full range for any……

“This is a beautiful place to stay. Room was gorgeous with expensive fittings and everything thought of, free water, hair dryer, coffee bags, kettle etc. Breakfast delicious and I loved Eccleshall. Staff were lovely and so much nicer than staying in Stafford.”

The hotel is in a very quiet area with lots of scenic countryside around to see. Just be aware that the rooms are on the 3rd floor and there are only stairs for access, but that is to be expected with a listed building.”

“Excellent - atmosphere, layout, decor. What a lovely place. Staff were extremely welcoming, design of the room was lovely with everything you could need. Even a fan! Only tiny issue was it was a very hot night and the window is very small and therefore it was very difficult to circulate cool air. Breakfast was delicious. Would certainly recommend and would definitely stay again if in the area . ”
