“Lovely stay, got there early but room not ready, but had full use of pool and spa which was fantastic. Still got room keys an hour early thanks to lovely staff. Room was immaculate and food in restaurant excellent if expensive. Only quibble no air con so room was very hot”

“Spent two nights as a couple with a small dog. Totally relaxing break on the banks of the River Trent. Stayed in one of the adjacent cottages (no 14). Excellent. Only niggles were that although the bathroom had been recently refurbished, the extractor fan was not working and there was nowhere to hang a towel. Bathroom had the best shower I have ever used. Talk about a whoosh! We ate both nights in the restaurant. It had a limited menu, but the food was good. Food and drinks reasonably priced.……

“The Woden is always a " go to ' place for us guaranteed a comfortable stay. The rooms are impeccably clean. The room had great facilities. Towels shower gels tea & coffee even water in bottles. Plates cutlery and a fridge. Everything and more. The beds are so comfortable and the place is so quiet. ”

“The staff could not have been more helpful, I had to be admitted to hospital yesterday evening and my partner called the hotel who were so kind and understanding when it transpired that my belongings might need to be set aside. the lady who staffed the breakfast serving was so patient and smiley giving terrific customer service.
