“Stayed in a pirate room and the theme was great and everything was decorated brilliantly. Plenty of storage space, small but sufficient room with great space saving and fun bunks for kids. Only issue was the cleanliness. There was food crumbs on the kids room ladder, sweet wrappers down the side of the shelf and chewing gum stuck to the lamp. That put a bit of a negative spin on it but if it had been cleaned properly then it's a great place to stay. ”

“Lovely four night stay at this wonderful guest house in Matlock Bath. Paula and Shaun were excellent hosts: greeted us on arrival, fed us well and shared local knowledge of things to do, where to walk and places to eat etc etc. We would definitely recommend. ”

“This was a business trip and I only chose this place due to the fact it was really close to where I was going the following morning... what a great surprise. Comfortable accommodation, sensible cost and a fantastic breakfast in the morning. This is not like your typical chain-hotels. Much more personal and friendly for sure and run by a family, so if you're staying in these parts of the country you should definitely support-local and get yourself in here. ”

“Does what it says on the tin. Warm - hugely important in Winter. Welcoming, reception and service were excellent. “So bad. We just arrived around 20 minutes and then they ask us to pay for charge of bath with no reason. I’ve no idea why but the manager told us cuz we have arrived 20 minutes so we need afford the charge of bath. ”
