“We had the most amazing weekend ! Room was very clean and comfortable - great facilities and very convenient for the wedding we were attending at kelham hall. “this hotel is a little surprise. Doesn’t look much from the outside and not helped by being next to a disused building. However, once you enter it is a very different experience. The hotel is lovely, well maintained and the staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. We had a family room which was very good, though could do with some better quality bed linen. “Booked myself and my black Labrador in for 3 nights. Spacious room, nice decor and very clean. Comfy bed with plenty of pillows. The full English breakfast was spot on with good quality items. (Thank you Ben). All the staff were engaging and very helpful. Great value for money! Would highly recommend this place and will definitely stay again should I be down that way again.”

“Lovely attentive, helpful.and very patient staff. Our bed was really comfortable. Our room did look over the cathedral, which does mean the bells do wake you up at 7am! Still, it is lovely to be close to this amazing, historic building. Location amongst individual shops, which are a bit different, the cathedral and the castle is a real bomus.”
