“What a lovely cottage. Very well furnished and equipped, in a lovely location. The cottage is even nicer than the photos suggest. However, if you ha e young children ( our grandchildren are ages 8, 5, 4 and 3), the neighbour is likely to complain. We received a message from the owner, with a complaint about the children running around and being noisy. Isn't that what children do when they are excited to be on holiday? The cottage does have floorboards which are quite noisy, but to expect them……

“The property was very comfortable and as described on the app. An ideal position just outside of Matlock with 2 good pubs close by that serve food.”

“Very clean and fresh. Versatile kitchen. Very comfortable base for exploring the Peak District”

“Really lovely period property with a quirky decor. New kitchen and bathrooms that had all you need. Only issues we had were with the steps to the property as they are a bit steep and uneven for those with knee issues and my parents are in their 70's. The parking at the back is also very difficult especially trying to turn around in a very tight space. It was a long walk down or up very long hills to town which an older perosn would struggle so easier to drive. Great for myself and I would say……

“Newly decorated apartment. But very small, no room around bed. Hot water ran out every morning after 1 shower. Also there is NO parking permit.”
