We have been looking for a place that had a bed and bath on first floor to accommodate some mobility limitations and this home was perfect having a single step on the front porch. “We were there in mid July on a hot week. We loved the privacy and how quiet the property was! We spent most days down on the dock, swimming and fishing. The living room has a window that is wall sized and swings open to allow a breeze of the pond which was great in the evening. We did not have any issues with bugs entering the cabin during our stay. The cabin brought back childhood memories of camp and sitting on the deck or by the fire at sunset each day was amazing. We enjoyed drinks by the……

“We had a wonderful time at your Lakefront Lodge! There was something for everyone! Sunfish, kayaks, an awesome beach to lounge and pups to play. The Lodge was perfectly appointed and plenty of room to socialize and the views of Chalk Pond were gorgeous! We definitely want to return ”

“Very quiet area, barely ever heard the neighbors. Comfortable living room, well stocked kitchen-we cooked many meals, very comfortable beds. It was easy to make ourselves at home but not feel on top of each other. Loved that there was a fenced area out the back door for our dog Max, who also enjoyed using someone else’s bed! Entry was easy with the touchpad. My only suggestion would be to list closest grocery stores, gas station, pharmacy, etc. in the house book. Once off of WiFi and traveling,……

“This property was as described. We enjoyed the outdoor seating on the porch with Baptist Pond just steps away. Appreciated the cooling fans in the living room and bedrooms, which did not get too hot during our summer stay. We didn't use the kayak or paddleboat, but one of us did swim in the pond for exercise. We also enjoyed breakfast and dinners out in nearby New London (good restaurants there!). Overall, a comfortable spot for friends to relax and connect.”

“Exceeded expectations is all we can say. Everything was accurate from the pictures to the description of the house and property. But they don’t do it justice. “Property very much as advertised.If you read reviews, there are window coverings that face the owners house, but it's not like you're on top of them. A lot of space separates you.Wood stove is great.Hot tub is on the back of cabin facing the woods.Steps are steep to get to the second floor, but easy to navigate. “The house was super convenient to Mount Sunapee and Newport is a really nice town. There were two families staying at the house with kids ranging from 11 years old to 1 year old. Everyone was very comfortable and we all had a lot of fun. I highly recommend staying there.”
