The screened in porch was amazing and we enjoyed exploring the surrounding property. I let my children wander as far as they wanted, as long as they could still see the red barn, which gave them some much needed freedom. If this home was for sale, we'd buy it in a heartbeat!!”

“We had a really fun time staying here and enjoyed our stay. The cabin was super clean and the kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the views, the porch, the fire pit, and hot tub. As other reviews mentioned, getting to the property is an adventure up and down mountain roads, the main bathroom has a sliding door with a small gap, and the bottom floor is completely a separate entrance from the upstairs. We had a great stay here - it was excellent for our family of 4.”

“The home was delightful! This older home was beautiful and lovingly cared for. It was well furnished and the kitchen was stocked with all that we needed. I loved the extra touches-blankets throughout the house, snacks, shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispenser and high quality toilet paper. We enjoyed making s’mores at the fire pit and throwing frisbee on the large front lawn. We also enjoyed spending time at the river across the street. Whiteoak Canyon Falls was about 15 minutes away. “This is everything you want in a VRBO! Extremely clean, warm and welcoming hosts, easy check in, cozy king size bed and the view while luxuriating in the hot tub is unbeatable! The location is 10 minutes from the Old Rag trailhead and about 20 into Sperryville. There’s a country store within walking distance. WiFi available, two big flat screens with streaming services and a well stocked kitchen. As an added bonus a group of friendly cows from the neighboring farm came right up to the fence line……
