The house was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need, making it feel like a true home away from home. Its fantastic location provided easy access to all areas of New River Gorge National Park, allowing us to fully explore the beauty of the surroundings. For those who are light sleepers like me, it’s worth noting that the nearby train tracks do have……

“Clean, well-maintained home with everything you’d need to have a comfortable stay. The kids loved a little play room off of the bunk room and climbing trees in the yard. The adults loved coffee on the peaceful porch. We all slept great on our overnight stay headed south. Would stay again! ”

“Perfect place to stay if you have a large group with a ton of machines and big trucks and trailers. We had 12 Adults in our group and there was plenty of room for everyone. And the game room/livingroom/private bedroom addition is perfect for those who don’t want to go to sleep when the others do. Shelby was an awesome host and was super responsive to any of our needs. Definitely coming back again and recommend this place to everyone. Also great location for Outlaw trails and Hatfield systems.”

“We were in town for a funeral all the way from Colorado. The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood and close to businesses you may need during your stay or remote enough to enjoy a peaceful getaway. House was very comfortable and had everything you needed. Host was responsive & accommodating. ”

“This place is great... owners are great people plenty of room in the house. Being 3 levels with garage and a yard.. very nice layout we had 2 adults and 4 kids and it felt just like home not a hotel being cramped up.. would definitely go back there is some beautiful scenery around the area”

“Syracuse volleyball parents hosted thanksgiving dinner for the team. The place was large enough for 27 people. The outdoor space and lower level provided enough activity for the girls before and after dinner. We had a great time! Thank you 😊”

“Very nice setting right on the river. Well stocked and nicely appointed. Beds were comfortable - earplugs are recommended for the nightly train activity. Worked well for exploring the New River Gorge area. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Better suited to sleeping 11 in beds. Futons aren't that comfortable sleeping. ”

“Clean and comfy and in a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed the sauna that looks out over the river, mountains, and passing trains. Also, the kitchen and dining area had large windows that were perfect for looking at the mountains while we had our morning coffee. Would definitely recommend to friends. ”
