“Had an amazing stay at the altapura, read a few reviews a few days before we went and were worried, but it was great. Main complaints were about how hot the rooms were, which were understandable, but opening the window solved that. The other critique we read was about the restaurants and choice of food for half board. Breakfast was buffet and had a great selection. Dinner you get 65 euros contribution each evening towards food, which you can choose from the menu of the 3 different restaurants……

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the food (both breakfast and dinner) were so delicious with a lot of options, the rooms are simple but we didnt need much - we went for a 5 day skiing trip and wanted an affordable place yet close to the Olympe gondola, leading right into Meribel. The hotel is about 7min walk to the gondola, therefore perfect! Brides Les Bain does not have a lot of going out/restaurant options, so some nights we stayed at Athena for dinner… great choice, cause we……
