The cottage is right on the water with a dock (no beach, but several are nearby), and we loved kayaking and watching sunsets from the deck.Some rooms are a bit tight, and Frye Island’s ferry access and dirt roads can be inconvenient—but if you’re looking for quiet, beauty, and simplicity, it’s worth it. “Nice place with everything you need. Beach is just across the street. Very comfortable seating and very comfy bed. My wife commented several times on how cute the place was decorated. Make sure to ask which cottage number. I forgot to do that but the owner met us as we pulled in so no problems at all. ”
