“We loved being here for a weekend with our kids. We enjoyed the tree swing, the amazing firepit area, and the awesome creek access right behind the property! You are less than an easy 18min drive to trails, a cidery and devils backbone brewery! The cabin is rustic but worked for our little getaway. The beds are emmeory foam and comfortable.They have all the amenities you need and we ALL enjoyed the stay! We will be back here for another weekend getaway!”

“Such a lovely stay!I had the best time at the Whimsical Creekside Cabin. The place is super cozy and peaceful—just what I needed to unwind. The sound of the creek, the comfy setup, and all the little thoughtful touches made it feel really special. It was clean, charming, and felt like a little hidden gem in nature.”

“The property was completely adequate for our needs. Despite its small size, there was plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. There were some small repairs that could have been made and some spiderwebs to be cleared. Also the trains running a few hundred feet away were a bit loud. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay and the scenery was lovely.”

“If you want to get away from it all and enjoy the outdoors, stay here. The cabins are lovely and comfy. You can enjoy your coffee on the porch overlooking the stream. Hikes and wilderness galore. Beer, wine and civilization a 30-ish min drive away. Easy check-in process and good communication. The other cabins are close but its set up well for privacy - we wouldn't have even noticed there were people staying next to us if we haven't seen their car.”

“Pictures of Dog Trot do not do this gem justice. It truly is an experience staying in this historical cabin. So relaxing. We made a camp fire our last big there. Watched deer and turkeys from the front porch and patio. Gorgeous property. Suzy is a wonderful and accommodating host. We rented this again for a few days in October to take advantage of the fall foliage. Can't wait.”

“This was a very unique property in the woods. It was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna immensely. We ate at Gerties, we t horseback riding, and went hiking. We loved it and will definitely be back. ”
