“This hits all the check marks of our requirements for our 17th wedding anniversary. The solar-powered cottage on top of a hill is cute, warm and comfortable. We came prepared with sleeping bags and food to cook at their grill. The toilet/sink in their barn met our needs. The highlight of the place is the view both from the cottage and from hiking the lookout of the property. Their dogs, goats and cows are friendly. “I brought my daughter to the area for a horse show at Virgina Horse Show (about a 10 min drive). This cabin feels brand new, but has incredible charm. As I understand, its a new build, but using very old logs.It has all the necessary comforts of a brand new home with incredible charm. I felt very safe. The only neighbors are cows! I only wish we had more time to visit.The owner was very responsive to a small issue and communicated constantly. Wonderful place!”
