“My family and I took a trip up from Florida while I had some work in the area, and we were hoping for a relaxing place to stay that was still close to everything and this was absolutely perfect! The views were beautiful, the open space was great for the kids to run and play and we were just minutes from hiking, swimming, great food and downtown. We were even surprised to find a dozen red roses and a card from the owner wishing us a happy anniversary. “We vacationed with our children and their families. The house was very clean and met all of our needs. You need to bring most of your food, as the only grocery is a small IGA market and a Dollar General. The local gift shop was awesome offering a coffee bar and baked goods along with souvenirs. The area is pretty secluded but very close to Snowshoe Mountain resort where we got day passes for swimming. Also, the historical town of Cass featured train rides and little shops.
