“This hits all the check marks of our requirements for our 17th wedding anniversary. The solar-powered cottage on top of a hill is cute, warm and comfortable. We came prepared with sleeping bags and food to cook at their grill. The toilet/sink in their barn met our needs. The highlight of the place is the view both from the cottage and from hiking the lookout of the property. Their dogs, goats and cows are friendly. Lynn and Buddy gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. We will be back and will……

“Me and my husband stayed for a night and over all can’t complain for the pricing. The check in lady was very kind and helpful but the power outage caused the key cards not to work. She had to let us in every time but was there till 11pm and told us to call if we needed in after that she lived close. It wasn’t her fault but the doors DO lock behind you still giving you safety. We had a no smoking room with ashes in the floor and smelt like cigarettes. ”

Our dog lived running around the property and the fire pit was perfect in the evening. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. We are excited to come back!!”

I loved reading a book in a cushioned rocker during an afternoon rain. Deer grazed in the yard all day, practically. I did scare them when i went out the exterior door and down the stairs, so they're wild and that was a treat!The hot tub is fabulous!
