“We enjoyed our stay at Harbor Mist in Lexington. The town is fun for eating, drinking, beaching, and the theatre. We felt overloaded with marketing communication prior to our check-in, but when we needed to know why there were no towels put out, I waited 12 hours for a response, and then reached out a second time to get an answer. Also, please note that while this older house sleeps 12 (we only had 6), 10 of those guests sleep upstairs with only a half bath, making showering a bit awkward……

“We absolutely loved our stay at this house! The property was everything we hoped for—and more. We spent time enjoying the view, relaxing in the hot tub, and hanging out by the fire pit. The beds were super comfy, and we all slept great.The hosts were quick to respond and super helpful with all our questions. We kicked off our first night with some delicious Jet’s Pizza and spent a day exploring downtown. Lexington Coffee was a favorite, and we loved browsing all the cute shops. We also walked……

“Host was helpful. Minutes by foot from downtown and the beach. Weather was cool. House was comfortable. Kitchen had gas stove which was intimidating to us. Bathroom and large bedroom was on main level. Windows on main level were left unlocked, but the host said crime was low there. We locked them anyways. Two windows would not lock at all, notified host. Visit with family and friends was more relaxing than meeting at a restaurant. Very proud of my hometown. My husband did notice cobwebs……

“We had a wonderful girls trip to this cottage. The cottage was extremely clean and well kept. Communication with owners was excellent. Beds were comfortable along with other amenities. We took advantage of the hot tub. Downtown Lexington is a 5 minute drive away, and the beach is so close. We had the beach to ourselves in May, and had a wonderful time. We would return again to this wonderful location. ”
