“From the moment we entered this property, we knew we had chosen the best place for us to stay while in Lex. Awaiting us was a great welcome basket and fresh water in the fridge. Kathy's Place is clean and so very comfortable. We felt secure and cared for as guests. Austen communicates well and answered each question we had. Other amenities included a basket of local information and some nice personal care products. I mean, they even had a fresh sponge for the dishes and pods for the dishwasher.……

“We had 13 in our family group ranging from 4 months to 83, 4 generations for the long labor day weekend. As other reviews mentioned, the property was beautiful! We had plenty of space for everyone. The patio was wonderful, we had warm weather and was able to use the pool some, it was a little chilly due to the cold spell we had but, the kiddos loved it. “The cabin was exactly as pictured on the VRBO site and a perfect fit for two adults. We were in town to enjoy horse country and some bourbon country too - perfect location! Minor issue with a leaking shower and it was fixed within 48 hours of our arrival - no inconvenience whatsoever. Owner is very responsive and the attention to detail in the cabin is clear (even makeup washcloths in the bathrooms!) We were there in extremely hot weather and the AC was absolutely fine - ceiling fans also……
