“A lovely small hotel, quiet location, a couple of blocks to the main pedestrian street, grocery store and bus stop. Very nice and helpful hotel managers. We would stay there again. ”

“Lovely hotel, well maintained. We had a family room with private pool which gave us lots of space. Views stunning. Breakfast delicious and varied. Very close to the bus route to the town and beaches. Down side would be lack of pavements down to the shops but road was pretty quiet. Loads of restaurant options near by. Very easy as gratefully the locals spoke fluent English!”

“1 min walk from Skiathos harbour bus stop.This hotel is just before you get to town & harbour.Everything is within easy walk- you can take harbourside walk into town or be adventurous and take back streets. Beaches 22 mins walk (google) although that is an average and we did it in about 15mins. Ramp & steps to hotel from street. Room was large and spacious with long balcony .Staff were Fantastic and breakfast was AMAZING! Rooftop pool with double loungers, pool towels supplied. This hotel allows……

“Great one night stay at Hotel Mato. Traditional old Greek house where the lady owner was so helpful and friendly. We had a room at the top of the house (up a spiral staircase) which had a spacious balcony with amazing views of the port. Lovely traditional Greek breakfast. The location is fantastic for Skiathos old town and the ferry port. Would recommend (as long as you like cats - she has tons them! ) ”

Ottima colazione, molto vasta sia il dolce che il salato. Pulizie ottime e camera spaziosa. Inoltre ci hanno lasciato ogni giorno un sacchetto con dei panini per il pranzo. “Great location! The property was clean, basic rooms but cleaned daily and towels and sheets changed regularly. Air con was a bonus. Pool area great for Skiathos town. Only downside for me was the bathroom a bit dark and could do with a revamp…shower screen instead of curtain. But wouldn’t put me off going back for sure! ”
