“Our family of 5 recently stayed here for several days while visiting the Pictured Rocks area. We absolutely LOVED it and I would say it was one of my favorite cabins. It's fairly basic and on the smaller side but that's what I loved - it looks and feels like a cabin. No TV which might be off putting to some but I LOVED because it encouraged our kids to be outside. “Overall it was a nice motel. No attendant on duty. Message was sent with room number, but internet service was spotty and couldnt retrieve the message. Hard to contact anyone to get room #, but finally got someone to answer. We couldn't get the AC to start, so room got warm. Overall, it was a nice place to stay. Just open your message before you get there.”

"The first night I was arranged to stay behind the elevator, which made me feel uncomfortable and vibrated. Because it was a standard double room with two beds, it was better for me to sleep in the other bed. Since I had placed two reservations, the girl at the front desk said that I had to move to the room downstairs for the second night. I said it was inconvenient, and she said there was no other way because the room was fully booked. The next day I asked another woman if I could not move to the first floor, and she said yes. I checked and found that the room rate I paid to Expedia for the second night was more expensive than the first night. Why did the hotel move me to a pet-friendly room on the first floor? It would be very inconvenient for me to move back and forth, which would affect my schedule."
