“We had a wonderful time at The Red Sunset of Guanacaste! The house is amazing, the views are spectacular and the host, Patrick, was so so helpful! And we can’t say enough about the wonderful delicious healthy breakfasts that Lisa and Mar made every day. Each day Patrick helped with our plans , sometimes arranging in advance. He also had terrific recommendations for dinner, we all loved the evening at Gingerbread Restaurant, a superb dining experience.Can not say enough good things , thank you……

“Accommodating ”

“We really enjoyed the quiet village and the house's amazing views of the volcano and lake! We saw beautiful birds everywhere. Loved the swings and the 3rd floor lookout! So peaceful. The only drawbacks were, one night the neighborhood dogs barked for an hour and we had a little trouble finding the house but Erika went out of her way to talk us through it and had her daughter meet us! Also, the first and second floor are only connected by outdoor steps. It was great for us because our teens……

“Beautiful views of the lake and surrounding area. The property was well maintained and very safe. It had a well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels for showers and poolside. Plenty of room for gathering inside and out. The pool and hot tub was a welcomed addition. Private balconies for each bedroom. It was absolutely amazing!”

“Host is incredibly friendly and accessible via WhatsApp. Stayed in the private apartment and was in love with the patio which faces the mountains and sunset. Space is modern. clean, and super cozy. Also stocked with some great coffee and South American wines. ”
