“What an idyllic place! Guests who wake with the roosters can admire cattle grazing peacefully in the mist in the hills behind the house. Friendly horses amble to the fence to greet you. Our dog was fascinated by the farm animals and loved walking the grounds.Upon arrival, we found a handwritten note from the hosts, who could not have been friendlier or more hospitable.The farmhouse is large, comfortable and extremely well-stocked. We were delighted to find fresh eggs in the refrigerator and……

“This was a great place to stay! Gene goes above and beyond in making your stay as comfortable and as easy as possible! There was plenty of space in the home and we felt like we were at home while we were staying there! We are talking about going back for a week long family vacation because we loved the home and it's location. Thanlks again to Gene for a wonderfil stay and we hope to stay again this summer!”

“There is something special about this place! The owners make you feel like family and are extremely responsive and accommodating. House was very clean, has everything you need ( from first aid kits, ziplock bags, k-cups, games, you name they have it!). The views of the lake are so peaceful (and can be seen while lying in bed from two of the bedrooms) and it was the perfect place for our family to relax, unwind and regroup from our long days at the soccer fields! We can’t wait to go back.”

My friend Bob was the birthday boy this weekend and he just wanted to hangout somewhere peaceful and sereen with golf courses and some nice play to grab a bite to eat and a drink. “We travel often and always opt for rental houses over hotels. I can honestly say this is our favorite place we've stayed. It didn't feel at all like a rental house, it felt like we were staying in someone's home. Everything was immaculate, and the hosts went above and beyond to provide everything you could possibly need. It is kid friendly, which we really appreciated, including a baby gate to block the basement stairs and even had a safety rail to put on the loft bed which we were very happy to……
