“We stayed because property is between IA State Fair, and our extended family in Minburn. Kids/Grandkids came down from Twin Cities and we from Chicago. Adel is a nice town and property is convenient in a nice neighborhood. Home is large and comfortable, property from 1930's? All appliances and kitchen and beds were in good shape. (Appreciated the A/C)! We had to work out some issues with the owner, but she responded quickly and appropriately. We all had a great time.”

“12 day stay. The house was a great size, with 2 bedrooms upstairs and 1 in the lower level. We had our to children (7 & 3) stay in the full sized beds on the 2nd floor room. “Property was above average and we had no issues with it and it worked out really well for our stay. I did have an issue with the very high deposit which I didn't notice until after I booked. (I did check the box without reading details but the previous listing with the same owner that I attempted to book didn't have a deposit so I didn't read carefully.) “The house was very clean and inviting. We had a little communication issue about where the keys were supposed to be, so finding the keys to get in was a little tricky at -3 degree temperatures. Other than that, everything was very good and the host was very hospitable. ”
