“During my 3-night stay, I lodged into a one bed room apartment which has kitchen facility. Good facilities during rainy days. Very good location. Hotel located between Manuka and Kingston, supermarket, cienema, restaurants are in walking distance. Only 15 minutes car drive to airport. I found very difficult to find a taxi in Canberra. Fortunately, East Hotel's calling taxi service is very efficient. With very helpful staff . If no restricted free Wi-Fi inside room is perfect. Only 100 mb……

“Great place close to the CBD. Parking was a bit annoying. Due to it being a shared carpark space, it was difficult to get a car spot near the access elevator to the hotel. This meant that we had to drag numerous luggage items around quite a large space.”

“The room is new, large and tidy, The equipment is also very complete. It’s impeccable. The front desk service attitude was not very good. Another thing to note is that parking is not in this Apartment, but on another street, and you have to pay an additional AU$10 each time you exit.”

“Excellent hotel, very comfortable room with bath robe, slippers. Washer and the kitchen are super plus. Service is excellent, 6 stars rating!”

“Stayed here for two nights and most importantly was incredibly warm for the duration (we stayed mid-winter!) It's a funny place to stay, while check-in is at the hotel foyer, the apartments are located at 1 and 5 Macquarie St, so entering them is via a different location. So if you're staying in an apartment, don't expect it to be the same as a regular hotel stay. I'd equate it almost to a serviced apartment. Not that it detracted from the lovely room or anything, we were both……
