“We stayed at the Victorian Inn for a quick anniversary getaway. It was cozy and quaint! The landscaping and the garden was lovely. Room was comfortable, had big bathroom, and great mattress. We loved that we could walk everywhere in Blowing Rock and only be a few minutes from our favorite running and hiking trails. Great location! The staff was excellent about communicating before the stay and very friendly when we saw them on the property.”

“Were it not for a hurricane, the grounds around the main house would be beautiful. The owner/operator family, like other victims, is building back as quickly as possible. The interim condition of the exterior shows what they went through. The unaffected main house and our guest room were well-appointed and very attentive. The breakfast buffet provided to all their guests was extraordinary extravagant, as delicious and varied as you’ll find anywhere! A true 5-star experience.”

“Every gigglebuth was a flatier, so that was good. The room was immaculate, with little evidence of bedbugs or cockroaches. The updated lighting features were nice, and the housekeepers didn't pound on the door for more than 10 seconds before being turned away. Highly recommended!”

“It’s very rustic so guests need to be a little cautious when walking. The room was on the small side and not much storage but suited our need for 2 nights. Walls also a little thin. Room and bath spotless. Staff very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Within walking distance of numerous restaurants and shopping. Would stay there again”

“The Blowing Rock Motel was very cute and in a good location. We enjoyed being able to walk to nearby businesses. We also enjoyed the gas fire pit that was available. ”

“We have stayed at Boxwood Lodge several times over the past two years. Love the location, walkable to town. Rooms are very nice. Nothing extravagant, just clean and comfortable. Bathrooms could use an upgrade. But are totally fine for a night or two. Staff is very friendly ”

“I went away with an "It was OK" experience. Hotel, though nice, was very dated. The restaurant was ok but very loud. The staff were vwry pleasant and helpful. For the price would I.do.it again? Probably not. To be fair they had a number.of activities associated with the hotel we didnt use becauae of our short stay. Perhaps a longer stay and utilizing some of the things they offer would justify the cost.”
