“Just a one night stay along our journey. Our dog was not with us on this trip, but I asked for future. Yes they welcome dogs and cats . . . with a $25 pet fee. They might as well say they are not welcome, when the room was only $70 for the night! Some deferred maintenance was seen and experienced in our room and the lobby/breakfast area. Overall it was just for the night and we have experienced worse.”

“I went away with an "It was OK" experience. Hotel, though nice, was very dated. The restaurant was ok but very loud. The staff were vwry pleasant and helpful. For the price would I.do.it again? Probably not. To be fair they had a number.of activities associated with the hotel we didnt use becauae of our short stay. Perhaps a longer stay and utilizing some of the things they offer would justify the cost.”

“Fantastic trip! Stayed 2 nights and wished we could stay longer! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The property was wooded and so quiet. We didn't expect to wake up to snow and feel like temp of 7 degrees, but the cabin was warm, cozy, and dry. Will definitely recommend to others and will be back! Thanks for the memories Bear Cabin!”

“I loved the proximity of the hotel to all the downtown stores. We had excellent breakfast every day. The pool was always clean. The only issue we ran into was the fireplace temporarily stopped working. ”

“The hospitality was top notch! The property was clean, quiet and beautiful! Olivia, the front desk attendant was very friendly and hospitable! “The property was such an idyllic spot! Just a few steps from the Blue Ridge Parkway as well as the town of Blowing Rock and Boone, the cabins around the lake were so beautiful. I would definitely stay here again!”
