“This was the perfect location for a family when our goal was to go for skiing. It was a 5 minute drive which meant we could just drop and pickup the skiers. The two bedroom and two bath was huge and perfect for a family of 4. My favorite part was that it felt like staying at a home rental with the convenience of a hotel. A check in/check out desk, community room, large property with amenities. ”

“Love staying here. We used to stay here before we permanently moved to the area. Lost power for a couple days and took advantage. My husband judges a hotel by its mattresses and he said about The Village Inn, this is the best sleep I've had in a hotel - ever! I hope the power is out again tonight. It is a charming hotel, with greats enclosed decks with adirondack chairs that face a creek. You feel like you are in nature in the middle of town. Highly recommend! ”

“Good location, clean rooms, the only thing is a little old, but otherwise no complaints, it is quiet and you don't hear any noise, it is a little expensive considering the rooms.”

“Always enjoy our stays at Chetola. It's a great resort. Some of the condos, including this one, really need some updating. Probably hasn't been updated in over 20 years, cracked tiles, things that don' work, etc. Would have given a complete 5 stars if they would do some maintenance and updating. Resort is great, but this condo needs some work. ”

“Inn is on the National Historic Landmark list. Main house has wonderful character and charm. We had a room on the third floor with a small gas stove. They also have a restaurant and the food was outstanding. We expect to come back many times. Staff was friendly. ”

“We had a great time. But seeemed a little over priced for what it is. The place could be better if some more effort were put into it. But the owners are very sweet, and house has great charm!”
