“The creek is amazing. Deep enough to wade into. Location is convenient to Banner Elk (you have to try the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster!!) and Boone (have to try Coyote Kitchen and Stick Boy!) While you're at it head up Beech Mountain in the summer and ride the chair lift to the top (there's a bar up there) and watch the mountain bikers ride down the mountain. House was convenient to all of this! Can't wait to return. Oh yeah, the homemade sour dough bread and jam are a welcome surprise. ”

“Had a great time staying here the space is just big enough to be comfortable while the outside is a very enjoyable area to hang out and relax. It's also conveniently located to Boone and there lots of things to do within a short drive”

“The property was beautiful. It’s light, airy, has huge windows and we were able to see both a bear with her two cubs and deer from the property. The hot tub was very clean and nice and if ever in the area in the future, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. We loved it. ”

“This house is small but spacious. Perfect for four people to stay in. It was clean and we loved the decor and feel of the place. Super cute! The porch was huge with a table you could eat at. It had everything we needed to be comfortable. The second bedroom was detached from the main house but it worked fine for us. The amenities in the community were great. We were there for the 4th of July and there were so many activities planned for kids and adults. The pool and lake are not within walking……

“The home and surrounding property were perfect for our stay in the mountains of North Carolina. The owners prepared a bouquet of fresh flowers and cookies for us upon our arrival, which was a very nice surprise hurricane Helene took out the stairs leading down to the creek, which made it a little more difficult than we anticipated to get down to the creek, but we found many other things to do, and there are many places in the area where you can access the water. I would highly recommend this……
