“Had a relaxing time at the Lake Front Cottege. It was so nice to wake up to see the lake every day & go kayaking when you wanted. Quiet neighbors & safe. Enjoyed patio fire at night. Clean kitchen. It has a you need in the kitchen. Has pillows& bed linens. We brought our own towels. Had dish soap, etc. Nice stay. Host was respectful & helpful”

“My friends and I had such a great time celebrating my 24th birthday here. The rental was clean, close to amenities, and even spacious enough for five girls in one space. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout the duration of our stay. While we had a little difficulty with the driveway and three cars, do not let that deter you from staying in such a beautiful space. Enjoy!”

“Planned for my Birthday and it was amazing! Very quiet and serial. Beautiful view of the lake. The cabin itself was very clean but the decks could have been a bit cleaner, full of spider nests on the windows and chairs. All in all still worthy of a definite 5 star. Was very enjoyable!”

We visited serenity alpaca farm and the emerald hollow mine. Unfortunately yellow deli is closed on Saturdays because I has also wanted to try it. “I was looking for a great place to stay for a week just to get away when i came across mallard cottage. The cottage was clean and check in was fantastic. The location was great as it was located equal distance from Asheville and Charlotte.
