“We came up to visit daughter on what turned into a cold rainy windy weekend.But the “Shack” ( which is quite nice) was comfortable and cozy.We would recommend it to anyone desiring a quiet weekend in the Lake James area.”

“My semi was in shop & I needed a place last minute. The inside and outside pics are ok but bathroom kinda misleading They provide towels hairdryer etc however there is NO SHOWER or TUB. And my bad but it says PET FRIENDLY however fine print 20lb max weight. So needless to say I tried to refund right away & was told by Expedia to contact owner which with a Wi-Fi password of NOTTODAYSATAN I figured I wasn’t in the mood to deal w/a possible religious fanatic.. so God bless us all & perhaps I……
