“We really enjoyed our stay. The yard and stream were great for our granddaughter to play in. We will definitely stay here again!”

“This is the third time my wife and I have stayed in Viewpoint Cabin. We stayed for 3 nights for half of our Honeymoon in 2015 and loved it so much we came back for a full week in 2017 and again for 3 nights in 2025. The property seems to have been well taken care of, and we were excited to see that the house and property are relatively unchanged from our previous stays. “We had 25 of us from all age groups staying there for a wedding that was nearby. This property had everything that we needed. We were able to cook large meals in the spacious kitchen. There were plenty of activities to keep the kids busy. Every room was clean, comfortable and well furnished. We will definitely be looking at this property again for future gatherings.”

“It as peaceful as can be. Even my dog who is very anxious at home, is completely relaxed there. Has everything you need. Additional amenities such as hot tub, fire pit, and indoor and outdoor games although we just go for the solitude. Fonta Flora trail is a short ride at one end of the road. Many other trails to visit and Brown Mountain overlook within half hr to hr scenic drive from cabin. We just love it and will keep going back when we are able. ”

“Phenomenal stay at Anglers Retreat. The property is tucked away at the perfect distance from Boone yet rural. The Creek was incredible and all the additional amenities were on point. ”

“This home is truly magnificent. The views are stunning. The property has plenty of areas to walk around, it’s private, yet it also has a couple trails. We even took walks with our puppy down the gravel road, which is really like a trail but more open. Unfortunately, I was sick most of the time we were here. Fortunately for me, the house is so very comfortable to hang out in and spend time in. We were here for 11 nights! It is fully stocked. Not just the kitchen, but there is plenty of everything……
