“We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful vlean peaceful cottage! We enjoyed the coffee bar which had a variety of coffee. We had the honor of feeding a family of deers. The bonus was the hot tub as we used it every night after our mountain hikes. The host was amazing and very attentive. Thank you Danna for sharing this gem.”

“The property was very Cozy. It was well maintained for a well-established property. The flexibility of living space was welcomed and plenty of amenities. The space heaters were welcomed although well used and probably need an upgrade soon. ”

“We decided to just get away for the weekend, to go snowtubbing and play in the snow. The area was beautiful were we stayed. Lee was wonderful and took care of us. ”

“The house was cozy, the hot tub was warm, and the distance to downtown makes it a repeat stay in the future.”

“Loved the location and the view off the porch especially. Many deer passed through. Several problems unfortunately. 1)The door code and door lock were inoperable. Had to call Vacasa and get key to lock box and physical key. Even then, the door would not lock behind us. 2) Internet did not work until third day of stay. Again, this required phone time with Vacasa. 3) Hot water tap in second bedroom would not produce hot water. 4) Both tubs had unpleasant black mold on grout and caulk that might……

“Fun time and real nice place to stay. Well decorated and apportioned.”

“Very close to all things in downtown Blowing Rock. 300 feet from Bald Guy Brewing for great coffee. Having dedicated parking was nice as well, we never had an issue finding a spot. Unit was spotless when we arrived. All appliances and HVAC worked with no issues. The beds are comfortable with plenty of blankets to stay warm.One item to be ready for if you have a fall or winter rental - the checkout instructions have the outgoing tenant drop the thermostat to 54*. So be ready for it to be chilly……

“Great home base for a ski trip to Beech. The split units made it easy for everyone to sleep comfortably. The younger kids enjoyed the backyard when they had enough of the slopes. Had some issues with the fireplace but nothing major and I’m sure is a quick and easy fix. ”

“Not fancy, but nice enough. Appliances are old, but work. Parking was our only issue. Not sure where three cars can fit, as the ad says. 4-wheel drive vehicle is a must to get out the main entrance. We only had 2-wheel drive vehicles and had to go out the longer back way every time we left. Road gets plowed after snow, but no salt or dirt added, so still pretty slippery. It was too cold to use any of the outdoor amenities, but it was warm and cozy inside.”
