“Just wrapped up a great stay at Snow Dog Lodge in Beech Mountain. The house is spacious, modern, and full of thoughtful details that made our trip really comfortable. With six sleeping areas and plenty of room to spread out, it was a great setup for a group getaway. The updated kitchen and big farmhouse table made mealtime easy, and the sunset views from the patio and especially the hot tub were a highlight.The game room and separate studio apartment were big bonuses. The family time spent on the deck was priceless! Watching the sun rises, sunsets, and star gazing was medicine for one’s soul. Many precious memories were made during our stay. ”

“The place was amazing and clean. The view from the patio is just like the photos. One thing we had to get used to was no curtains on any of the windows. Also I was super excited for the patio couch set that’s in the photo but it wasn’t there when we arrived unfortunately. BUT everything was so beautiful and amazing we didn’t mind. ”

“Great spot in the heart of Beech Mountain town. Walking distance to Fred's, Brick Oven, and everything else worth doing in town. Just a 10-minute drive down the mountain to Banner Elk. And the barbecue downstairs from the unit is worth giving a try. to”

“We stayed here for my daughter's birthday weekend. Boone had a lot of snow and ice the week before, and neighbors helped my husband get up the road to the house. The VIEW was beautiful! The house is huge, and there was plenty of space for my daughters' friends, my sons' friends and my husband and I. It was a great location. We went sledding on Strawberry Hill (GREAT experience!), and went to Hawks Nest tubing. The kids loved the hot tub, the pool table, the hang out room downstairs. We……

“We stayed at King Wolf for the final two days of a week-long service trip with high school students. It was perfect. The bunk-house setup was ideal, and we loved the open space and deck. We used the fire pit, and walked across the street to get amazing pizza. Everything was ideal, and communication with the owner was so easy. This is the perfect place for a large group. We will be back!”
