“Loved the location and the view off the porch especially. Many deer passed through. Several problems unfortunately. 1)The door code and door lock were inoperable. Had to call Vacasa and get key to lock box and physical key. Even then, the door would not lock behind us. 2) Internet did not work until third day of stay. Again, this required phone time with Vacasa. 3) Hot water tap in second bedroom would not produce hot water. 4) Both tubs had unpleasant black mold on grout and caulk that might……

“Thomas Chapel was easy to find, and a quick drive from Downtown Boone. Set back from the road far enough that it was actually pretty quiet. I definitely rang the church bell every time we came through the door. Incredible craftsmanship, such a calming atmosphere. We were actually able to rest. We loved the decor and the small creek running beside the Chapel. All in all, a fantastic stay!”

“Views are hard to beat, and home has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The road in is veryyy steep with sharp turns so keep that in mind when choosing which vehicle to take. Highly recommend! ”

“We rented this property on just pictures alone. The cabin is beautiful and spacious. The drive up the mountain… the drive up is the best. I would stay here again and again. ”

“Really enjoyed our stay at the “woodsy cottage.” It was quiet and peaceful. We had all that we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfy, the location was a short drive to Lake James access. I would stay here again!”

“My family and I have stayed multiple times in the Bear and Bull units. Both are well kept and have the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The location of the units is unbeatable for convenience to anything in downtown Blowing Rock. It is very nice to be able to walk to restaurants and other attractions, as during busy times, parking can be difficult to obtain around town.”

“Danna was an amazing host and her Cozy Cottage on Beech Mountain was a much needed get-away. She was very communicative and clear on all check-in/out instructions. Highly recommend!!”

“Grapevine Cottage is a genuine mountain cottage, not a spec builder's 2020 reproduction. It is cozy and well furnished. The owner has done an incredible job of adding modern conveniences such as Jacuzzi bathtub, outdoor hot tub, dishwasher, microwave, etc. without detracting from the cozy cottage ambience. The weather was terrible, so we spent a lot of time in front of the fireplace watching TV, playing board games, or reading. It was very relaxing and peaceful. There were starter supplies……
