“Great place to stay, beautiful property. It was not the original place I had booked but due to an error the host was able to get me into a different cabin. My husband and I enjoyed our stay in the woods. The cracks in the floor are a bit wide so careful with your toes. A few minor cleaning issues but nothing that hindered our stay. Overall a great place and I would recommend the red roof cabin to other people. ”

“The kitchen and butler kitchen were incredibly well appointed. The layout of the house was ideal for coming together and for private space. Quality of the beds, sheets, and layout of bedrooms were phenomenal. We plan to rent this home again next time we visit this area with a group. Location is closer to Boone than we had expected. Roads are curvy but it doesn’t last that long. ”

“Peaceful and calm. Would definitely stay again. Private rejuvenation retreat, Even when it rains your eyes can feast the past for hours. The exquisite sound of the screen doors as they make their way to the snap of a close. Nostalgic, the kind that opens doors and gets banana pudding made at 1030pm ending with a sit in the porch. The history alone is worth the stay. Can’t wait to see what they do next!. ”
