“The cabin was amazing - spotless and so comfortable. It was one room but incredibly spacious with a full kitchen set up. The area was "country" and so peaceful and quiet. I did not mind the spotty cell service (my provider) as I just wanted peace. And the welcome basket had incredible honey cinnamon raisin sourdough bread! If you want a lovely, quiet stay, you can't do better.”

“The property is as advertised and is awesome!!! The inside is nice and well appointed. The outside property is very nice and the amenities are amazing!!! Cabana bar, fire pit, horseshoes, washers, tether ball and more. Also a very nice outdoor play are for the children. A really nice getaway. We also liked the location, halfway between Weatherford and Granbury on the Brazos river. The sunsets were pretty too!!!”

“My father was supposed to join us on this trip, but passed away 10 days prior. We went and celebrated him. He would have loved sitting on the porch or in the pool watching his grandchildren swim, fish and play. The ambience was great. The house was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back!”

“Best part for us was the spot on the river. Shallow enough for our 3 year old and 6 year old to stand in the water and walk around in mud boots and fish!”

“My friends and I loved this place! It was very clean, very welcoming! As soon as we entered and walked around the property, we knew we should have booked an extra day. The bedrooms were all very spacious, and there was plenty of extra blankets and bedding for us all to get cozy :) We had a very relaxing weekend- the kitchen was a delight to use and the paddleboat was so, so fun!! ”

“Just what we needed for a quick stay. We were unfamiliar with the area but the property felt homey and it was only 10 minutes away from the wedding we were attending. The hosts were very responsive, accommodating and added valentines decor to the home, which was a nice touch!The hosts stay right next door and they have a couple of dogs that come up to the shared fence. Didn't affect us but a little heads up for anyone bringing a pet.Thanks for a great stay!”
