Checking in and out was extremely easy, and communication was excellent from management. Lots of convenient items to use/borrow like beach chairs, coolers, sand toys, and a long handled shell scoop. Nice quiet neighborhood, ice cold A/C, well appointed kitchen, and a screened in porch. Loved it and will be back!”

“The property was just as described. Everything was comfortable and decorated so nicely. Had everything we needed and then some. Was a quick walk to the beach. There is a place outside to rinse off all your sand, the owner was easy to get in touch with and very nice. Would highly recommend and I would definitely stay here again!! Currently there is still so much devastation from the relentless back to back hurricanes. Please be respectful for those that lost so much. ”

“Our family loved this cottage! This is our 2nd trip to LGI, and it has proven to be the best break away from all the “busy”. The cottage is nestled in the middle of the island and the perfect distance from the dock and the beach both ways. We enjoyed the slower pace and naps in the screened in porch. Everything we needed was already provided and it made for an easy stay. It was a touch too windy to paddle in the bay or ocean, but that didn’t stop us from combing the beach for shark’s teeth and……

“All of the Shorebirds Cottages are absolutely perfect to rent for couples, and now, for our whole family! While small and cozy, they had everything we needed, or forgot to bring. We enjoyed the ease of the kayak and bike use and the laundry facilities are pristine! The entire rental is perfectly located and very clean. Jen and Eddie have done a wonderful job fixing up after the 2024 hurricanes-the whole city has done an extraordinary clean-up since our Christmas visit, we were pleasantly……
